INFOSOCIETY is a neologism coined by the author, formed through the synthesis of the words 'information' and 'society'. The term designates a conceptual framework through which the condition of contemporary life, defined by the pervasive presence of information, may be critically examined.

In this context, INFOSOCIETY functions as a metaphorical assembly of representatives of the Information society, encompassing all individuals situated within the current historical moment. Information has become a ubiquitous force, shaping modes of perception, communication, and social interaction. Its overwhelming presence transforms both subjectivity and collective experience, altering the way reality is constructed and understood.

The digitalised society, irrevocably transformed by the proliferation of data, gazes back at us through mediated images that appear both familiar and estranged. These images interrogate their own condition, inviting reflection on the epistemological and aesthetic consequences of living in an information-saturated world.

In this emergent reality, information circulates without clear boundaries, diffusing through the temporal and spatial fabric much like air permeating the atmosphere. It establishes a new form of 'Data-Eternity', governed by its own logic and internal structures. Yet a central question persists: does this informational plenitude generate authentic knowledge, or does it merely reproduce an incessant flow of noise and disinformation?

Through the installation, the author invites viewers to engage in an experiential inquiry—listening to an immersive soundscape and confronting the gazes of the individuals who constitute INFOSOCIETY—thereby reflecting upon the conditions, contradictions, and affective dimensions of the contemporary information age.
